Email updates

If you choose to subscribe to directory or clinic marketing emails, we record your email, optional name, consent and confirmation time. Marketing is sent only after you confirm your subscription. Each campaign includes an unsubscribe link. We keep subscription preferences so opted-out addresses are excluded from future campaigns. Correction reports and supporting public links are stored privately for directory administrators to investigate business listing accuracy. Please do not include sensitive health information in a report. Email delivery uses Emailit when configured; provider acceptance does not guarantee inbox delivery.

Location on the homepage

Where available, Cloudflare provides an approximate city from your network so we can personalize the homepage. This estimate may be affected by a VPN or mobile network. If you choose “Use my location,” your browser asks permission and uses coordinates locally to find a nearby city in our directory. We do not send those browser coordinates to our server or store them. You can also select a city manually.

Clinic workspace and visitor requests

When you request a consultation or send an enquiry, we store your name, email, message, preferred date if supplied, and your permission to share the request. The clinic manager and directory administrators can access these details. Do not include medical history, patient photographs or sensitive health information.

Visitor reviews are moderated. Approved reviews display your chosen name, rating and text; your email is kept private. Clinic accounts use an essential sign-in cookie. Saved clinic shortlists stay in your browser. Profile activity records contain the clinic identifier and time of the visit, not a patient profile.

Enquiries do not subscribe you to marketing emails, texts or calls. Contact us to request correction or removal of information you have submitted.

• Usage data: privacy-friendly, aggregated analytics about how pages are used, collected in a way that does not identify you personally.

How we use information

We use information to operate the directory, respond to enquiries, process listing claims and subscriptions, prevent abuse, and improve the site. Payment processing for subscriptions is handled by Stripe; we do not store full payment card details.

Cookies and consent

We use a minimal set of cookies necessary for the site to function and for privacy-friendly analytics. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us at hello@glowcompass.com. We honor data removal requests, including for business listing information.
